Field Volunteer Roles
Join us on the front lines of change! Our Field Volunteer Roles offer hands-on opportunities to make a direct impact in the community. Whether it's assisting at events, supporting outreach programs, or working on local projects, your efforts will help drive meaningful change.
Canvasser (Door-to-Door)
Visit voters in their homes to discuss the candidate’s platform, distribute literature, and encourage voter turnout. Must be comfortable walking and speaking with strangers.
Phone Banker
Call registered voters to promote the candidate, remind them to vote, or collect opinions on key issues. Requires clear communication skills and access to a phone or computer.
Text Banker
Send text messages to voters using campaign-approved platforms to inform, persuade, or remind them to vote.
Poll Watcher
Monitor polling places on Election Day to ensure a fair process and report issues. Must follow Board of Elections guidelines and receive training.
Fundraising Assistant
Help identify potential donors, draft thank-you notes, and assist during fundraising calls or events.
Legal Observer
Monitor polling for compliance with election law and voter suppression issues. Typically suited for law students or attorneys.
Campaign Office Roles
Be the backbone of our movement! Campaign Office Roles are perfect for those who want to contribute behind the scenes, helping with organizing, outreach, data management, and logistics.
Data Entry Volunteer
Enter voter contact information, update databases (e.g., VAN), and track engagement. Accuracy and computer literacy are essential.
Administrative Assistant
Support the campaign team with logistics, scheduling, materials preparation, and general office tasks.

Social Media Assistant

Translator/Interpreter
Translate materials or provide live interpretation in languages common in NYC (e.g., Spanish, Chinese, Bengali, Korean).
